This is a fun thread to read...
1. I am crazy about cleaning my house. It has to be picked up at all times otherwise I'm freaking out, yet my bedroom looks like a hurricane just went through it. (it's been that way my entire life, I hate cleaning my room)
2. I cannot eat maple syrup unless it's with peanut butter.
3. I cannot chew gum with out swallowing it within seconds of putting it in my mouth. It's almost involuntary. I feel myself starting to swallow the second the initial burst of flavor is gone and can't prevent myself from letting it go down.
4. I'm the only women and definately the only pregnant women who cant stand chocolate. Hate it, can't eat it, never crave it. |

1. When shopping at the grocery store I can remember the price of every item in the cart. When I check out I correct the scanner at least once on every shopping trip.
2. I almost always drive the shortest route to a destination, even if a slightly longer route might be faster.
3. When watching a sporting event on TV I say the exact same thing the announcer says 5 seconds before he says it. (My wife is truly amazed at this)
4. I love pickles, but can't stand cucumbers.
5. I can tie a cherry stem into a knot with my tongue. |

You people just HAD to talk about food today! :)
1. I used to eat mustard & dill pickle sandwiches as a kid.
2. Powdered chocolate drink mix is horrible... and so is 'YooHoo'. Give me Hershey's chocolate syrup or give me death!
3. Sorghum is really really good, especially with home-made buttermilk biscuits.
4. I hate shopping on an empty stomach, yet barely buy anything if I'm full.
(and now, the rest of life)
5. Purposely urinating outdoors is a good thing, even if no one is in the (only) downstairs bathroom. Yes, we live WAY out of the city.
6. Ditto the money in numerical order thing (I make people wait in line behind me until its correct).
7. I blush when older women flirt with me.

When I cut into an avocado, I throw the pit out the back door and over the fence. I can't throw it in the trash for some reason.

I suddenly am feeling very normal!
I, too, must always sit facing the entrances and/or exits of a room and I hate to dine out with anthing but a wall behind me. I'm getting better, but I'm constantly turning around to see what's going on.
I can hear TVs and monitors (CRTs) when there's no signal being received and have been known to go through my house to find what was left on.
I cannot stand beeping sounds - if one continues too long on TV or a movie, I get twitchy and angry.
When it's silent, I can hear people talking, but not what they're saying. I'm a chronic eavesdropper, and it annoys me so much that I always have something on as background noise. |

1) My wife and I meet online, not over the internet but over a local BBS playing DOOM 2.5. We still have regular matches and are about equal, but she thinks she is better.
2) I own about 1,200 board games, many games I buy just to take photos of them. I do eventually play them all.
3) I have a fear of using the Telephone, I would rather drive an hour to ask a question in person rather than call and ask the question. And I still have never owned a cell phone. |

Okay, well not the oddest thing about me but....
When I'm stumped at work I'll walk down to the bathroom and "take care of some business" and 90% of the time I have a solution before I get back to my desk.

Im the same with the m&ms into little groups then eating them in the correct order!
I used to be terrified of people touching the underside of wrists, or the inside of elbows!!! (Much better now, but still wouldn't choose to touch or watch someone else touch them!!)
My boyfriend introduced me into the strange ways of his family;
Mars bar sandwiches and strawberry jam and wotsits (Cheesy puff type crisps) or prawn and cocktail crisps!!!!
Im very short, yet i play really large instruments likeBaritone Sax, bass clarinet, double bass (If i have a stool to sit on!)
Also im fanatically tidy everywhere apart from my own bedroom (or my own little space) which is an absolute tip most of the time
I'm sure there are many more, i'll update as i remember them!!! |

i have a thing about people not picking up there dog's mess when the dog goes for a #2...and i mean i am very agressive about it.
i cant walk up the stairs with out thinking there is someone there,i get a real weired feeling specialy knowing an old man died in my house.
and i hate the noise of clocks...tic toc tic toc grrrrrrrrr |

I cant touch paper if my hands are wrinkled from being in water
those new energy saver lights.. really bright.. irritate me to the point of almost being angry at times I can be sitting in a room perfectly fine and slowly getting more and more irritated till I figure out one of those lights is on.. turn it off ..and instant relaxation.
I used to eat ketchup, mustard, mayo and relish sandwiches as a kid.. I didnt like cheese or meats... ~odd~
I've written a goodbye letter to the important people in my life... in case.

1. I go to goodwill two or more times a week.
2. I tried to make cookie dough flavored cookies.
3. I cant stand dry hands, or the really squishy ones.(dance class introduced me to them, they are like holding pudding in a latex glove.
4. I wont eat mustard because i pronounce it musterd.
5. I hate fun size candy bars becuase there to small to be fun.
6. I love DOTS, they are a great wepon in the movie theater when someone wont shut up, just launch a cupple at them.
7. I have to be loud in a store, or make someone feel really dumb if they do something dumb. |

1.) In response to another post about living in Utah and never skiing, I also have lived in Colorado my entire life and never been.
2.) I love peanut butter and miracle whip sandwiches.
3.) I absolutely hate having water on my face in the shower, I keep a towel hanging over the top at all times and probably dry my face at least once every 15 seconds, but if I'm swimming or doing anything else water related I am fine.
4.) I eat all of the outside of puffy cheetos first, then pop the inside in my mouth last. |

I cannot eat in a restaurant that I can't see out the window...at one restaurant I asked the waitstaff to move us to a different table three times.
