All up to date now, re the ones you asked me to add you to, re the ones you prefer. I have added you to both lists if you thought you could manage some of them, and it doesn't matter if you can't.
One can do both.
Let me know if I have to take any names off any of the lists.

Only a couple of days to go..... I am looking forward to it as well.....
Start looking around for ideas for textures now, so you can get a good start.
Textures are going to be used for both side challenges, so have fun everyone.....

It would be neat if the "overlays" created some images from the submissions of the "textures"...I know I would love to see how/why some of my entries could be used as overlays.

I was actually going to use photos that, while not completely filled with a texture, have some texture in them. In some cases, more than one texture. This to me is still a photo side challenge and not a processing one.
I think it would be prudent if those wishing to use textures posted by others would ask permission before hand. We do not want any ruffled feathers over "stolen" images. |

Well I'll be doing textures and I'm happy for other DPCers to use mine and I hope to develop a small library of photo's for future use mine plus others. I mean that's the whole point isn't it.
Personally I'm happy to share, I will try and upload large enough files and keep them available for the month if I have space.
Or I could email the larger size if that would be a better way, not sure.
I think the overlayers might just have their photo with something like Texture provided by Node and a linked to both.

How do you make your own textures? I mean, is it as simple as finding something gritty and taking a photo? Rain on windows, distressed architecture and the like?
My 2 attemps have been really fun to play around with - November is going to be a fun month! |

By the way it is OK to do both Textures and Overlays either full time, or part time.
It's all up to you.....
Only one rule, apart from having fun and learning, and that is, to try and encourage others, by leaving some comments please, on some of your fellow group members images......

Les we had to split the group coz one group was going to be huge! We have split it into textures and overlays read back a few posts to get the idea, I dont think info has been changed at beginning of thread ;)So let us know which one you want to do.
