Hey UNTOUCHABLES are good at everything, so it seems. Now if this was based on the Fauna Challenge...I would have you nervous double the strength. Avg Vote: 5.5479 Mine is still to high..but homing in on you.

nice to see some chatter from our loyal fans here.I was away all day with friends wich was ok but the worst thing about it all was the rain, it just would not stop and I was not able to take one shot. Damn weather, oh well.

Has everyone voted in this challenge? I would hate to think that those in the know from the past challenge would miss out on the item of choice that had to be included in your shot. I had fun with it and I also had fun with the extra item/s I was to include. I hope my efforts were fun to view, and made sense in the photo. It made sense at the time.

Quigley, I am SO HAPPY for you!!!
A personal best, you BLEW your previous scores OUT OF THE WATER! I loved this image, absolutely awesome, and you did a great job incorperating the required 'stuff' from our previous side challenge.

Thank you for the boost I am so glad that I did so well and it will most likely be my top score for a long time to come. But at least I'm getting better.

I'll post the results when I get in tonight from work to make it official. A great big THANK YOU to all of you who were part of my first side challenge run. Dispite the low turn out there was interest from others to take part in others and I will let them know when it is.

For the third time, I will try this again.

Our contenders and their scores are as follows -

timfythetoo....5.5105....( Final Placing - 60 ) FIRST PLACE

Judi....5.5597....( Final Placing - 55 ) SECOND PLACE

colorcarnival....5.0146....( Final Placing - 96 ) THIRD PLACE

The score to aim for this week was......5.4632

So who is going to reign this week?

I'm sorry I haven't yet figured out how to link the images to the challenge results. ( it is not for the lack of trying I'll tell you that )



Judi....0.0965 OVER OUR GOAL



colorcarnival....0.4486 OVER OUR GOAL



Interestingly the average score on the entries was.....5.3616...now that is one heck of an average!!!
The total votes on the entries was.....411 (average per entry - 137)
The total views on the entries was.....780 (average per entry - 260)
The total favourites on the entries was.....0
The total comments on the entries was.....23 (average per entry - 7.66666)

So even though you all class your score as average according to the site statistics...your statistics here show you are all winners. You are all the best.

Oh and btw...we did have one other placing....THE COURT JESTER!!!!

This award goes to the person finishing furtherest from the goal score. It doesn't matter if the score is higher or lower...just the furtherest.

And the winner is.....

So the King of Mediocre now needs to think what the punishment will be. Think of some object or whatever that the other members must include with their next entry. The entry MUST be submitted in a challenge within the next week.

You must also decide on a second object for the Court Jester to include in their entry.

You must send your decision to me for approval. Please do not forward the punishment onto the members or to anyone else, so as to maintain anonyminity. I will forward it onto the members once I approve your choice.

Also...members you are to keep the punishment to yourselves also to prevent identification of entries during voting.

And finally, here are the entries.



Oh and one last thing, this was my entry. I wasn't sure if I was allowed to erter the side challenge because I ran it for Judi but I would have if I knew I could. To answer any questions re my punishment for getting the court jester award, I had a choice of two objects to put into my shot a long with the original object and I used all three. Thank you picturesbykim for making it fun for me and watching this thread and thank you all (three) for playing along with me for the first time while Judi is away. It was fun and I'll run the next one and the next and the next(what am I saying HURRY BACK Judi) and the next one... :-}

I feel like I cheated to get the Court Jester award, going up against the likes of Judi and timfythetoo - knowing full well that any chance of me beating them was slim to none. lol

How come people who run these threads never put themselves in these challenges?

I wasn't sure if I was allowed but I hope that I can for the next one I'll PM Judi and see.If so I'll add the intended item to my shot as well. :-}

We have not yet heard from Tim with the item and the punishment item for the jester so I will run a new one for one of the other upcomming challengses because it would be to late for the photo inclusion now and to get it entered.

I can only hope that all is well with Tim.

Thank you for playing and I need to get out and take some shots to enter so I can enter myself.

Quigley you did a fantastic job. It is a shame that more people chose to bitch in forum threads then join in the fun here....but that is their loss.
