 Someone Out There thought this was worth ONE POINT sure lots of other people liked it.
I thought there was a sanction that these voters had to say why !

I aM curious how it motivated this person to think must be Pure Rubbish and its worth ONE POINT

| I concur. Forget about it. Everyone gets crappy votes. Photos i would vote an 8 get 1s and 2s. |

I didn't get time to vote on all the group portrait entries, so I missed yours, but it looks pretty good to me. The goth look isn't my speed at all, but it's a good photo. Some minor posterization showing on a couple of faces, especially the girl in the back. I would have probably given it a at least a 6, probably a 7.

maybe their ex-girlfriend is in a goth dance troop and they are bitter.
Or maybe they just didn't like your picture.

Personally I wouldn't care about the 1 vote of 1 (or the 1 "2" for that matter), I'd be thrilled to get 87 votes of 8 or more.

I would echo the comments made by most of the others and take solace in the fact that you captured an image that fell into the top 14% of the challenge.
While it would be nice to know what motivated someone to give this a one, on the grand scheme of things it is not worth the aggravation.

just to further ease your mind your average was
6.541538 or
6.558642 with out the 1 voter (still in 12th place) So they made no difference
infact you would need 4 ones to drop your position at all
So cheer up with the knowledge that the 1 vote was just a waste of the voters time :)
