Day 9 - tender
I'm running at every second day in this side challenge - but am also doing the October 'Light' side challenge which I've done daily. |

Sunday I drove up into the Lassen National Forest (about an hour from my home) and stopped at Deer Creek Falls along the Deer Creek. This is the first time I've ever been to this waterfall and I was awestruck at the beauty. I've included three for today, and there were so many more I want to share I may have to use them on a future day.

A blocked up loading dock at an old grocery store now living life as a health spa not to far from my place. It really doesn't look like this, the paint reflects strangely and I've seen it happen before. Strange but true.

The mums have popped ... Autumn is here. Heat and humidity go away, bring on the color.
Thanks all for your nice comments about Lola. He was originally our youngest son's chick magnet during college. Then the chick was had and the bunny's schedule conflicted with his. I begged him not to do anything crazy to the beautiful bunny.
That year my mother's day gift was Lola! And Lola has led the life of luxury ever since. At least a lot better than living with 5 21-year-old males, anyhow.
