went for a walk around Austin today. Theme for the day was 'orange'

Did "orange" come to you after locating a subject or did you set out with orange in mind originally?

What a great idea, I just love the collage. All the colour and texture are wonderful. Great job!

Met up with a friend who wanted a bit of suggestions on what to shoot. I asked him what his favourite colour was - he said 'black'. Then he mentioned that he'd seen a few yellow bikes and cars on the way over. So I suggested that his theme for the next two hours should be yellow. I looked around where we were sitting and the first thing that I noticed the colour of was an orange sign so I went with that. After that, I just started shooting. So the colour came first, before we started looking for anything.

That's beautiful work and a great idea.

I could see a series of those hanging in a coffee shop or a restaurant.

Mmmm...Purple!!!

Thanks! I'm thinking of doing some sort of multi-piece print and hanging it on the wall. Might have to go for another couple of walks on different theme colours to get a full set though.

Without a doubt. Do the entire spectrum. I'm certain you'll turn up a beautiful set of prints.
