Some berries in the neighbor's yard. I was originally working on getting a bokeh shot for the recent challenge. Nothing worked for that, but this one seemed to fit into this FANTASTIC side challenge.
I know I went a bit far in the PP, but when I tried poster edges I really liked the 60s style swirls that occurred (really taking the bokeh aspect to a whole new level). Keep them I did, kinda reminds me of a lava lamp.

This is the image I wanted to submit for bokeh, but I completely forgot. Oops. It probably would have bombed anyway...it's really grainy and OOF. :) YOu guys will appreciate though! |

well, I for one love it, it definitely adds a new dimension to an already evolving art form, whynot throw in a tune or 2 from time to time? it is pleasant to hear the music too while looking at the images...i like the youtube connection if you can find the songs...

Rained here this afternoon, but the sunset was excellent. I was inside a building shooting out thru one of the roll up doors.

A comparison tonight, in the vein of exploring what matters. The thumbs look nearly identical, but the full size images aren't.

funny, that's how I feel about my LCD! the image always looks so good there! :) need to rely on histogram more I suppose...

A bit of a cheat as it was a challenge entry. And I really, really miss this thread. May actually take a half day off on Saturday and hope for a good internet connection so I can see what you all have been up to! |
