I'm very happy to share the news that the video I made for my bros These Silhouettes got accepted to Much Music (the Canadian version of MTV) for rotation. It was my first music video and lots of people worked hard to make it with the limited amount of resources we had. We based the video on the photoshoot I did for them.
It was a crazy shoot that lasted from noon till the wee hours of the morning (which is crazy considering how short the song is.) During the shoot, we accidentally lit the blowing paper on fire from the hot video lights, blowing around fire in a room filled with flammable paint fumes. (the location is a car paint booth.) We didn't explode because higher powers wanted you to see this video!
So check it out here!
It's the Much Music website for it's first two week premiere. After, it will be on my site and youtube.
But I need your help... if you want to help me make more videos (and the band, for that matter) please send in a request for them to play it here. |

Very cool...love the paper flying around...I hope you kept the cameras rolling during the fire..(I don't know if the fire was in the clip as the vid stalled just after the paper started flying around...it must have got lost coming across the waters...!!!!)

I had the same error when I tried to look at it today at work and again here at home...everything loads but the main box where I assume the video is, just sits blank with 0:00 down on the bottom. I was on XP and 2000 pro. Which totally bites cause I admire your work Joey and was looking forward to seeing it.

I got to see it from the US. Still says "sorry, you're not from Canada" though, but it plays. Is it really only 1:24? Short, but soooo sweeet. |

The video is very cool, the band sounds like a Coheed and Cambria rip-off. So kudos to you, boo for them. |

What is with Coheed fans calling everyone else posers all the time? |

How can people act like Coheed invented that sound. I remember seeing them 6 years ago at a legion hall and thinking that they sounded like every other band coming out at the time. They weren't anything special.
I feel the same way about this band too though, but im jaded haha. A lot of bands are getting big with this sound, so more power to them. I still like my hardcore tough, my metal heavy, and my pop punk punky. |

Coheed is a Rush/Zeppelin rip-off. Never said they were all that original. |

Funny, Rush is the first thing I thought of when I heard "limelight" in the first few measures.
Great video.
Would be cool to see some setup shots etc. |

Looks to me like it was shot in an automotive paintbooth. I must be getting old, all I hear is people screaming and music blaring, I like alot of music, but that would get the channel changed in my car in a hurry. The video is OK.
