i think i may have an issue with my s700 i bought it new in May and got approx. 6000 shots, but over the last few weeks i have noticed that the camera seems to take about twice as long to wright to the SD card and the photos seem to be really noisy especially indoor shots.
Has anyone heard of any issues with this camera?

some of my first photos

a couple from last week

My first thought was "is it on auto-ISO?" If it were on auto the camera would probably bump up the ISO for the indoor shots, which would making it grainier. What's the ISO on the two indoor shots here?

Are the wedding ones noisy or are they also not focused properly?

I feel that you may have found the problem. With the S3 Pro, I find that any time the shutter speed is longer than about 1/2 sec, it takes about the same amount of time to write to the card i/e 5 sec exposure takes about 5 sec to write to the card and appear on the LCD.
A glitch that I have noticed when shooting exposures over 1 sec, is that if I attempt to delete a shot before it shows up on the LCD, the camera can freeze up with the "writing to card" symbol displayed. The only out is to turn off the power switch, and pull the batteries for a couple of seconds to reset the computer. I noticed this while shooting lightning shots at night, while trying to delete shots where the timing was not right before they came up on the LCD.
You may want to format the card, or try another one. Sometimes a card will start getting scratchy before it trashes out completely.
I am also seeing the out of focus in the posted images. Was it in "macro" or "landscape" mode by some chance?

i actually shot the them in auto mode
it is very possible that they are out of focus because i was trying to take cont. shops while the camera was writing to the card
I'm thinking that was what happened i wasn't giving the auto focus enough time to refocus

but I'm still puzzled as to why it is taking so long to wright to the card i have even tried a new card and still getting the same issue ?

If you have an in-camera noise reduction setting and it is ON, the camera takes a black subtraction frame to clean up the hoise. The subtraction frame is shot at the same shutter speed as the first exposure, and will effectively double the write time.

Try turning the in-camera noise reduction off, set the shutter speed to at least 1/60 and set the ISO manually to the lowest setting (not auto-ISO). Then go outside in some bright light and see if you still have trouble.

The Fuji people may be able to answer your question about the write to card time. I would try a full reset on the camera, and leave the battery out for a few minutes to see if anything changes.
As to the focus issue, if the S700 has choices like spot or closest subject priority focusing, it may be set on spot, causing it to not get what you want in focus.
One other "duh" sort of thing to check is to make sure that the lens is clean. You never know when the kid with the peanut butter sandwitch may have given your lens the "wonder what this feels like" treatment.
L2's try it outside idea is good too, that will eliminate some questions about it taking so long to write. Weak batteries may be involved too. Watch the battery indicator when it is writing to the card to see if it goes way down. This is even more critical if you are using flash.
Here is the Fuji website link. Fuji Support and Repair I had one of my S3's rebuilt after the white smoke came out of it, and they will take good care of your camera if you have to have it repaired or adjusted.
Their other links are on that site. Good luck with the problem and solution.

Since the S700 does not have real image stabilization, perhaps it is also possible that "picture stabilizer" function was unknowingly turned on and it bumped up the ISO on you?

(I just bought mine over the weekend, so I have not really had the chance to hammer at these functions yet.)
