well...it's 17.00 Hrs over here now. I off to my house and I'll start preparing for the backlight challenge. I hope I know what I'm doing as I don't see myself taking the stress of two photo's doing badly :-D

I don't think some people know what figuratively means. I knew this would happen though. I love the shot and it seems a couple others like it too so...it's all good in the end. |
Ain't that the truth. I think outside the box myself and this is what I get, and my pic has wings(guess some people are ignorant to the word figuratively)

I hate it when that happens. . .when you use the perameters clearly stated by the challenge description and way toooooo many "better-not-step-an-inch-outside-the-box" voters go against the description and vote a picture down.
Anymore . . .for dpc challenges, I've learned. . ."DON'T GET OUTSIDE THE BOX". . ..you will pay! But maybe yours will come up after the first day voters are done. For the urban challenge, mine was in the low-mid 5's most of the first day, and now it has it has had its head poked up over 6 for several days now. Good luck!

| I notice a lot of "Outside the box" thinkers usually get hurt in certain challenges. It's a shame, they should really be appreciated for their creative ability. |

sorry but i have a hard time really agreeing with this. like i said my picture is completely figurative, there are no wings in the picture but its still doing very well. you can go outside the box and if you do it really well then I don't think people will freak out with dnmc's....now if your picture is slammed into a challenge by making a tacky obvious title that is different from stepping out of the box...... |

I give up Peeps! I think outside the box and get HAMMERED! I think inside the box and technical and I get HAMMERED! This place does NOT like my shots....yet, I ribbon elsewhere. Go figure! Gotta have a certain "look" to your shots, or......you'll get hammered in here! LOL Think that my energy is best placed in other venues.
