I don't think some people know what figuratively means. I knew this would happen though. I love the shot and it seems a couple others like it too so...it's all good in the end.

I'm having a heart attack. Wanted to post this becausee it is for sure a personal best and I'm going to savory the moment while it last.

I'm voting and commenting right now. But I can't get over the amount of birds.

To me a photo of a bird not in flight or not spreading its wings is a DNMC. Sorry but that's how I feel. Otherwise the challenge would've been 'Birds'

Did people miss the fact that you are allowed to shoot Wings Figuratively speaking. Thus someone diving for a soccer ball or diving in the water must think they have wings or can fly so to speak. My photo was not the example I gave but same principle. Its getting hammered. One DNMC already. If you can use a camera you should be able to read the decription of the challenge.

edit: my picture doesn't have a single actual wing in it, so don't think that people are sooo quick to declare something dnmc...maybe the figurative wings in your shot aren't as apparent in your shot as you thought or maybe it isn't as technically excellent as many of the fabulous pictures in this challenge are. I dunno, just a thought

Im a bit dissapointed. I guess mine is a bit sad and with all them happy picture out there it's tough to compete. Besides there are some really good ones too.

My guess is a baby picture will win this contest. They are so darn adorable. LoL

Mine is not a bird, not a human, not a bug and not even an aligator :P it is one thing, and that's why I liked it :) I get around 5.3 now, which started 7 (!!!) ouch, but I was excpeting that anyway. I thought Rural entry would be my last 5+, but I just couldn't stopped myself enter to wings. I want to enter almost every challenge, as much as I can, and at least stay in 5+ :)

So, 5.3 for me for now :)
