Yes, I know you will think "How?" "Ãlex" "Imposible". I'm definitively with you. I can't believe it myself, so I understand you...LOL
Well, it's just a small contest on my town, Alicante (Spain), but, I'm a small photographer, so it's very much for me.
This is the photo:
Just wanted to share with my mates of DPC. I've learned and I'm still learning a lot here, so a part of it is yours.

Congratulations!!! Muy Bien.
My wife and I vacationed in Spain this year for 9 days. It is truly a very wonderful and photogenic country. I made about 1000 pictures and look at them often.
Alicante and Valencia were beautiful.
Again, congratulations and keep up the good work! |

We're going on a vacation in Spain in September, but I guess Ibiza is too far away from Alicante :)

That's a great shot - one of those that grows on me the more I look at it. I can completely understand why you won. Well deserved.
Beautifully composed, beautifully processed (the black and white has a really fantastic tonal range and wonderfully rich contrast), lots to look at... that little boy playing, the texture of the wall surface, the archway, the sign, the jumble of wires, the bricks of the arch, the railings, the monument with cross...
It really is a GREAT image.
