Question, please: How do you guys do those collages? Is there an action or something to do them?

These are fun to do. Start w/your BG. Decide on the size/resolution for your working document. I used a shot of plain waxed paper, uncropped, unadjusted. Open up your florals one at a time--change the size/resolution to be compatible w/the BG. It's easier to change the size before you paste it in. I decided to set the short size of every floral to 240 pixels. Coppy it, then paste it into the collage--I gave each layer a name as I went along. As I go, I set guides for top, bottom, & side edges--if Snap To Guides is set, it saves eyestrain. After about 45 min, I had 31 layers. After they're all in, you can fine tune the arrangement. When it looked pretty good, I flattened it & resized it for DPC. Then, I added the text. I saved for web last. It's like a triptych only more fun.

If you're not doing an all-the-same-size montage, then you can just be sure all images have the DPI the same and you can resize each layer as desired in PS as you add each image to the collage.

Hey, I am BACK as I missed you all so much, and it looks like this one contining through Auggust, so count me in please.

I will catch up later today, as I am still procesing some new flowers, that I took yesterday and today.
