I would think more than one entry per country would be a good idea.

It's John's project though so it depends on what he wants. :)

I can contribute for Central Alberta (Edmonton) if more than one entry would be accepted.

For now, I would like to stick with one per country. I have quite a few volunteers from Canada, but the original volunteer hasn't responded yet. I will keep everyone on the list until we have chosen one.

Could be a problem with compatibility. I'm not sure if could shot a picture on a Canon then send it to someone with a Nikon or Pentax and have the card work with out reformatting in the different brand.

We went over this in the first post. None of us have had a problem. Unfortunately i cant shoot CF the format problem would be more comon then card type. They say its best to format with the camera your using. The last camera that i had this problem on was a 1.3 mp point and shoot 6 years ago.

Should be fine, if you want format it with a PC under fat. You'll do okay.

Yup.. that project is long dead. I got tired of chasing people. This project's success won't rely on specific photogrpahers and I have some other contingency plans in place for problem areas..

We only have 11 countries so far that have volunteered. I was hoping DPC would produce a little more than that :)

Gosh - I thought there would be more interest in this. Will you still do it with the handful of countries listed ?

I'm not sure yet. We don't really have enough to do much with. Maybe we can come up with an alternative project if we don't have enough people interested in doing this.
