I would like to recommend two young brothers for a double YAPPIE. They are 11 and 13 years old...and one of them is already on the front page with a ribbon. Their parents are also on this site. But between them they have made 818 comments on challenges in the last week alone. Some people might grumble that a comment from someone so young is worthless...but I challenge them to go and read some of their comments. They took the time to make those comments....and I bet they are learning from looking at the images a little bit closer...and that can only help their own interest in this craft.
So please...recognise and encourage these two young boys...!
 patsfan = 598 comments (4 challenges)
 Ringostarr = 220 comments (2 challenges)

I know the nominations are closed but, I'd still like to second this one. I got their comments and even saw one of them in a thread or two with some pretty good stuff.

It's tough to earn an OOBIE for a landscape challenge, but  krnodil has done it. It's clearly a landscape (in case formerlee is listening) but it still flouts all the expectations for a landscape.

btw, on a completely unrelated note, the voting team this week will each receive a flat screen tv for voting for any 7-letter nominee name starting with k that appears on the ballot. ;)

Just about a day and a half to go before this current crop of nominations moves on to the voting process...all nominations posted between July 8-14 will go to the vote starting July 15.

I like to nominate  Ursula who is one of our Site Councilors.
She alway seems to be able to say the right thing, and sometimes even gives one a little critism, but in a good way, that always come from her experience and knowledge, epecially in the processing.
I alway appriciate a comment from her, and feel she deserves a "Yappie" Award.
What do others think.....

I'm sure many people missed the BEAUTIFUL reflection in the train window of that boy - WOW! Lucky for me I noticed it in the thumbnail, it seemed less pronounced on my screen at full size - MAGIC! |
