This is the blackboard outside the door of our neighbour across the hall, adorned with a cheese board. So for laziness you can get me, but not for missing the challenge. I knew I was headed for trouble because 'chalk and cheese' is not commonly used in America - or something. If you care to google it, or use some less commercial search engine that doesn't home in on subscribing business interests such as the Chalk and Cheese pub in Dorset, then you may find out that the expression describes things that are incomparable and/or mutually exclusive, so that it is, in fact, the ultimate dichotomy of everything. I have not marked as helpful those comments that tell me it isn't a dichotomy. So there.
Otherwise thanks for the comments, of course.

Two very different media, to be sure, but hardly mutually exclusive - there can be cheese without chalk and chalk without cheese, and Chalk-E-Cheese if you try hard enough. The photo itself is very busy and the title subjects are de-emphasized. I give you kudos for trying something different. 5

This looks like the whiteboards we have at work: covered in pictures of cocks and the word "Satan" randomly scrawled on it.

Huh? Since I still don't understand the intricacies of the word Dichotomy I'll give you the benefit of the doubt because the picture is nice itself. The border, to me adds to the picture.

Two distinct items yet not really in opposition. They need to be part of the same class of things to be considered a dichotomy. Two parts of a greater whole so to speak.

Aside from that? Too much chalk. Not enough cheese...
