I stumbled across THIS bit of on Time's website a bit ago...
Photographers, even though they may be famous, need to be careful of what they say sometimes :)

Apparently Time got it from the BBC who has since apologized to both Annie and the Queen for the depiction of the Queen having stormed out of the room which was not the case. She did however refuse to take off when suggested by Annie. |

Nope, we are not in the medieval era, but there is such a thing as respect. It is easy to insult the monarchy, cos they won't respond to it. But what if Bush or someone else as a world leader was treated with disrespect, what would the results be then?? It is easy to mock what seems archaic, 'medieval', but that is our culture.
Seems someone out there, who had this opportunity should have shown due reverance to a head of state! |
