My rebel has not had autofocus for about 18 months. It really sucks and has really had an effect on my motivation to go shooting. I can't truly afford to get it fixed but figure if I don't do it it will never get done. What has stopped me more then the ~200 bucks is the fact that I will have no camera for 6-8 weeks. I'd rather lose a lung...

Which leads me to my plea to my fellow photographers. Does anyone have a camera (p/s or Canon body, I won't be picky) that I can borrow for the duration? If it's here in Michigan, I'll be more than happy to go pick it up...

Do you have some sittings scheduled? Bummer if you do. I'd give you my minolta p/s but it broke about 3 months ago. I know you would be careful with whatever camera you got though. Wish I could help. Have you considered renting a camera?

I let my daughter use my old camera. Sorry I can't help you out. That would make me crazy!

Hey. You can borrow my Powershot S110 if you really want to.

It's only 2MP and you'll probably need to recharge the battery daily but you're welcome to borrow it until your camera gets fixed.

PM me if you're interested.
