Well, now I have no more excuses :(

FedEx just delivered my new Sony DSC-717 this morning!!!

I figure I have a week grace period to learn the features and then I'd better 'produce' something great or my wife will be waving the invoice at me everytime my score dips below 5.0 :)

That's when you hand the camera to her and see if she can do better! Consistently having a score above 5 can be challenging...

The only problem with that is she probably can do better :) 'Art' runs in her family... She just prefers sewing, knitting and loam work to photography right now :)

I think I just fell out of my chair from laughing so hard. hehe good luck with that awesome piece of photographic technology... too bad the seven deadly sins challenge isn't this week... I am sure many are green with envy!

Hey, you're bound to take great shots with that camera. The pressure is on, though. I just checked your average and it stands at 4.999. Good luck and have fun!

congrats on the camera....have you heard about all the problems with the HAF focus on the 717??? and some other issues with color saturation??

If not go to Sony Talk forum

and do a search on HAF....there is a serial number list that is floating around with the effected units.
