I'm with Melanie ( kteach), I need to catch up on posts (and comments). So here are four days; no comments necessary as penance for lateness and not commenting more here :/

 Day 15 Kindling Cane
OK, I confess ... 7 1/2 hours at work and I was exhausted yesterday! That and 3 hours into work (and one party down) I got a text message that my Mom was in the hospital.
No worries ... she is now home just 24-hours later ... with a pacemaker implanted! Things like that worry me, especially when I can't really help (being 12 hours by car away ... and not very mobile). Luckily she took care of everything before she called 911. She got a care giver to arrive for my dad, called my two (somewhat) local sisters, and then finally called the ambulance. She's a character!!

Good to hear that she's going to be ok, I would have been worried too! |
