Okay......here's my latest offering in the out-of-the-ordinary, ordinary thing.

Surprise, it's another window. It's actually quite an ordinary window, BUT......it's placement and the effect that the glass has is decidedly, not.

First, just the window and the effect of the glass....

And its actual orientation in a wall inside the doctor's office....

My last post was day 7.... I've gotta catch up and I will probably do it early next week. It's kind of been busy lately around here but the good news is that I'm registered for the fall semester and applied to the Integrated Media degree with emphasis in digital photography. They only let in 20 students a year for each of 4 areas of emphasis. Anyway don't give up on me I'll get back in the game and catch up soon.

Ok, I was curious...bored, so I looked up the definitions between object and thing since I've been wondering about their differences because of this challenge.

ob·ject [n. ob-jikt, -jekt; v. uhb-jekt]
–noun
1. anything that is visible or tangible and is relatively stable in form.
2. a thing, person, or matter to which thought or action is directed: an object of medical investigation.
3. a person or thing with reference to the impression made on the mind or the feeling or emotion elicited in an observer: an object of curiosity and pity.
4. anything that may be apprehended intellectually: objects of thought.

thing [thing]
–noun
1. a material object without life or consciousness; an inanimate object.
2. some entity, object, or creature that is not or cannot be specifically designated or precisely described: The stick had a brass thing on it.
3. anything that is or may become an object of thought: things of the spirit.

I only listed a few of the definitions for each that made sense for the context of the 30-day-object challenge. I found that (imo) object and thing can have the same meaning, but the difference is that thing usually implies an object that is unknown, or the speaker does not know the correct term to use for the object or event, so they substitute the word "thing."

Well, there you have it...in case anyone was actually curious :P

Good research, and nice things in your pictures.

Well the one has a spider the other has some pills for medication or something and then there is the electrical wall outlet, some fabric of some type....................Look I just turned things into objects! :D

Ditto. I may not have a photo today, either -- I'm feeling a little "puny" as my mom used to say.
