Taken at the rest home today. Cadi enjoying a cuddle.

Can't really call a cat's an object .....but didn't get a chance to take much else

Okay, like many others in this challenge, it's not really an object. But it's far more meaningful than any photo of a real object is likely to be. Really beautiful.

Such a tender and touching image. I find myself wishing for just a touch more space above Cadi's ear; but it's so lovely that it doesn't even bother me. Wonderful lighting and composition.

Oh, I just love your shots from the rest home with the cats. They are so emotional. Thanks for sharing another one of them with us!

Really nice photo! I think it says a lot about the comfort they get from each other and how it is a mutual appreciation, well done!

Wonderful compositon and DOF, and love the grainy background. Almost feels like both are purring! Thanks for sharing.

Cadi is providing some of the best therapy that is available at a rest home. Here in California at least there are very strict requirements before an animal can be brought to an assisted care home, but sometimes there is a cat that lives there and visits the guests. The guests react very well to those visits.

So sweet! The hands and the obvisouly contented cat are great!!

I visit a nursing home every week with one of my 2 certified Wolfhounds. Some weeks are kind of ordinary, but some weeks that visit makes someone's day and all I did was bring my dog to get petted! For some reason cat owners don't stay with the program very long; I wonder if the local shelter would be interested in letting some of their pets go visiting? Some of the shelter cats are so mellow they could cope with just about anything. Thanks for the idea :-)

This is such an emotional photograph. I love the treatment in b/w. It has to be so rewarding seeing the reaction to these loving pets. Wonderfully done.

I work at an spca Sandy ....we go out twice a week and visit all our local rest homes with animals. At time it's really sad, but so rewarding when you see the reactions and the love.

Very emotive image! I LOVE it!! My eye goes to the hands first then the cat. I have a thing for hands- I think they are beautiful.
