 Yes, the subject is not the spider this time, it is the strand of web...that's an object right? Object/thing/object/thing...whatever :)

I really like this one, I think it has almost a surrealistic painting feel to it. I desaturated the background (which was bokeh foliage) and the dodged the edges until it ended up looking almost like a sponge paint effect...or like the spider let out a fart cloud, lol :D

This is cool! I think using desat on the background works well, and helps bring the focus to the web.

I like it! Yes- IMHO the strand would count as an object. It does have a surrealistic painting feeling to it.
