Either way, why not add a section on using the button so it includes everything?

I'm kind of missing why you're arguing with me about this. Are you the current owner?
04/09/2007 05:39:18 PM · #77
No, not arguing, just pointing out false information. And I did mention adding the DPC thumb instructions.

Edit: opening a ticket to the admins is probably a better avenue to get it changed than opening up discussion in the forums.

Thanks, MK. I knew that was around somewhere, and finally found it.

Now that you're back on the SC, couldn't we add that to the tutorial, since it already exists?

Also, we can now use [thumb] code in bios, as opposed to when you wrote that forum post.

That is, these pieces were all written over time, but some of it's been improved since then, so why not provide the current info in one place?

I guess I'll contact Bod.

Mainly because no one has bothered to collect all the pieces, I suppose. I'll see what I can do.

Now I'm really confused. This is the thread for discussing the tutorial. I didn't open it. In fact, I found it by clicking the discussion link in the tutorial itself.

Does someone know how to get IE7 to stop popping up a message about "allow scripted windows..." when trying to add a thumbnail?
04/09/2007 06:18:44 PM · #84
I think you have your IE security settings to block popups, or only allow with specific permission.
04/09/2007 06:21:48 PM · #85
Okay... google before asking...

tools->internet options

Security tab then select trusted sites then add DPChallenge as a trusted site.
04/09/2007 06:25:58 PM · #86
Or, if you like, you can allow all sites to prompt for info.

To always allow scripted windows, check the Allow websites to prompt for information using scripted windows custom security setting.

I put together an updated tutorial. It references a few yet-to-come mini-features so as soon as those are live, this should be good to go.

Hmmm, you taunt! :)

I have to guess.
- Hide Woodies?
- Automatic Dead Horse detection?
- Popcorn dispenser?
- Block Art's Posts feature?
- Shoot Art in the head feature?

Am I close?

that is purely to turn on and off.

Daft question. How do you do different colours?

I'm pretty sure DPC doesn't support different colors. Thank goodness.

That usually happens when you search the forum for a particular wording and it shows you the results...with the wording in red.

OIC. Didn't particularly want to do it, just saw red (no pun intended) and got curious as to how it was done. Fanx Judi/fotomann.
