Yikes. I go to bed (silly me) on the other side of the pond (that would be the Atlantic) and we get two pages worth of stuff to read! Hi Mary!! (Can I get my snowman back??) Hi Art! You're welcome to come on in any time - sit a spell, hang out, sip some brew. Just be careful which brew you choose. Jeb has mentioned something about stills in the past, methinks. Hi L2! (Rumor has it you hang out here, too, on occasion.)
Purple - cool stuff with the violin! Reminds me I should do more of that. Need to find a torch (see - I'm learning to be multilingual) that has batteries and a working bulb. I don't know that the Coleman lantern thingie would do a very good job...
And Hoovers... hey, what's up? I know I'm stickin' stuff in there and Christian's got what's pretty near a perfect entry going in Landscape III.
Anyway, I think it's Friday (cannot confirm at this time) and I suppose I should get ready for work. BUT before I run off, I did have an idea yesterday (as I get older, they happen less frequently and it gets harder to remember that I had one in the first place, let alone what it was...) When we award our Yappies, I think it would be nice for Team Suck members to visit the portfolio of the Yappie winner and comment on a shot or two. |

Something to ponder re:  Kashi's (very well taken) photos of handsome young man on horse and breastfeeding. If someone had not left a comment that he looked too old to be breastfeeding, we would not have learned so much from Kashi about the LLL, etc. It seems that Kashi took what could have been ugly and turned it into an opportunity to teach instead. |

Thank you for the welcome. I'm not sure how OOB I am to qualify (probably not a lot, my creativity needs work), but my scores do suck (at least now, with only 4 entries, 50% of the time) - I believe my two highest scoring entries are absolute flukes and should not overshadow my true suck-ness. But given the most recent discussions, it's nice to know I'm among people who will not count any high-scoring flukes against me.
Do we have a vacuum? Add me to the chore list, if there is one. |

This is a friendly place to extend one's creativity if that's a desire, or just to learn more about photography in general. Feel free to look around the place, peruse the associated threads, and see if it's a comfy fit. If if is, there are wicked initiation rites, often involving poetry and secret missions.... :-) |
