"Anyone brave enough to smear vaseline on the camera filter deserves something. I appreciate this photo more as time goes by. During voting I wondered how the effect was achieved, if it might be motion blur, but liked the colour and parallelism which seemed perfect."
The OOBIE, "Out Of the Box", is for photos that meet the challenge in a creative fashion that DPC voters might not have properly appreciated.

OMG I have just caught up with this wonder ful award it is better than a ribbon. In fact it will most likely be the only one I will get .
To make it clear, it was an old scratched COKIN 81A filter I used It is passed its sell by date but still has a limited life after death.
who knows it may even surface again
Again thank you the award is better than an oscar Peter Jackson my esteemed countryman may even display it among his LOTR awards!!!!!!!!LOL
