Nice eclipse images.

I suspect that some of the better captures by folks on the east coast of the USA are being held out for the Red challenge. Since totality was during moonrise it should have made for some nice moonrise landscapes with the right setup. We shall see. :)

Okay ... here is what I was able to produce from a fairly cloudless yet misty Saturday Night during the eclipse with my tripod and my little cheapie camera. I am pretty pleased, all in all with how they came out.

Beautiful job everyone that shot those pictures. For those of us that didn't get to see it, it is greatly appreciated. Thanks again!!!!

Yeah, well, nature has it in for me... an hour before the eclipse was to be... thunder lightning, rain... sucks.
Apparently we have another eclipse in August.

From Como Italy the weather was fantastic but with my Sigma 70-300 joined with Nikon D70 and Manfrotto 055B one of my best is this collage :

In Southern California, wasn't anything to see
on the way home from work except a full moon.

I love all your shots. We only had rain and clouds, so no moon showing. Maybe I will get one in August, though I am not sure I will be able to see it.

I'm a bit late in sharing, but here was my view.

Here are my attempts

Never realysed that the moon moves so fast and that in a 20s shoot it's already blured
