Though I don't have any jpegs of these yet, am I the only one who finds it humorous to pull up to a drive-through ATM and find Braille letters?

The way they drive, you would think so.
½ of them either eating, changing clothes, reading a paper (braille version of course),
applying make-up, and some may be on their cell phone at the same time.
;)

You've never encountered the phenomenon of a blind person taking a cab to the bank? Welcome to the 19th Century ... : ) |

in one of the communities here, there is a sign that says, "Welcome to Cruso. 9 miles of friendly people and 1 old crab."
Each year, they have a "fundraiser" for their community center or whatever and elect the old crab. :) |

That's OK -- I can appreciate the humor in the apparent incongruity. I just have this nasty habit of clarifying for the benefit of those who haven't thought inside the logic as well ... |

While I understand the blind going to the bank I have seen the braille equipped ATM's that have no sound or headphone jack and often wonder how they know what the screen says. Even the ones that talk don't seem to be much help, I wonder if their ATM cards are coded to make the ATM do more for them. It's the same as the signs at McDonalds drive through offering braille menus at the window.
On a side note, I wish I'd had my camera yesterday. I was at the craft store and went by the styrofoam stuff and there was a sign that said "Please do not poke or eat the styrofoam pieces." lol |

The Chingrish signs cracked me up. Here's my favorite from Beijing:
And a couple from the Great Wall at Simatai:
Every now and again, they'll state the obvious (from the Forbidden City):

Anyone from NH here?
When I was in NH I loved those Moose Signs...They said something of the sorts
"Brake for Moose, it could save your life"
Nevermind I found it :)

I have several that I don't have digital copies of, but here are some more recent ones. Not all funny, but will make you stop and think! On the "Fruit and Nut" one, I hope I don't offend anyone, as that is certainly not my intention.
