| To all my friends at DPC: My wife and I just found out that we will be having a baby. It's our first one, so we're really excited! So, in about 7 months, I'll be among the DPC'ers who does nothing but post pictures of babies! Wish us luck and prosperity - with the price of diapers these days, we're gonna need it. |

Best of luck Steve. I have 3 boys. It's a miracle I have time enough to do anything let alone take photos. Probably explains why some of them are pretty weak (like my Country photo). It will be an enriching experience, or so I'm told :) I don't feel very rich.

| Congrats...time to go get accquainted with the Toys 'R Us Baby Aisles. They actually have the very best baby registery....oh and if you need help on an idea for the B challenge....take a photo of your wife's belly and call it Baby to Be first Trimester =o) Of course that means you will have to find a challenge each trimester to share another belly photo and when the baby comes we get baby photos! Hey congrats and get lots of sleep now cause when that baby comes she gets to sleep while you do the middle of the night feedings! Oh if that only worked! Congrats again on being the new Daddy to be around here. |

LOL I was thinking the same thing..I'd love to share Kris with anyone...geeshhh where was everyone who needed kids to photography when we were doing the pageant circuit, wow did I pay a fortune then, and now everyone is renting kids...hey I got a model here anyone want to borrow him I get to select 8 x 10s for his portfolio...and you can take as many photos of him as you want...
Seriously I photograph all the neighborhood kids for free and just occassionally give a neighbor a photo of there little darlings...don't pay JoAnn when would you like to borrow my brat, say maybe for a week or two...
Psst Steve when the baby comes JoAnn can babysit for free long as she can take photos of the baby while she babysits...see best of both worlds JoAnn gets a free model for photographs and you and your wife have a free babysitter for the night. |

at least you are further ahead than I was at that stage of my life.. if I had had dpc around in the early 90's, I would've taken much better creative photographs of my babies and the wonder of the process.

Enjoy it while you can and put it in the bank. Keep it there for withdrawals when you feel like you must have disappeared into the woodwork and nobody notices anybody but the babe! Congrats!!

Hey Steve, If I were you, (which I was in your position 5 times) I would start buying the diapers and baby food now. You are going to have so much fun with the little one. Keep us posted on ultra sounds and all that good stuff. :-)
