Day 17
Blessings - Was going to enter in street photography, but decided to pass.
I took this one last week, because I didn't get a chance to go out yesterday.

Day 19 (a day early.)
I was refining this picture this evening and decide it would work for this theme. I actually took it back in October.
Current station built in 1910. Historic train station that ran trains for both the North and South during the Civil War. The rail line suffered much damage but was important for both Union and Confederate strategies. Today the train station is used by the Virginia Railway Express (VRE) and Amtrak. The trains run from Fredericksburg to Washington D.C. and beyond.

Looking to the left from my back yard. I love going for walks when the weather is warm. There is a creek, trees, wildlife, cool plants and weeds and train track run the length of the property but I've not ventured to the tracks for photos. It is a very busy track.

I got called out on my last shot, when I referred to a couple of mules as horses. This one is a horse. Really. I think. :(

A left over from yesterday, and 2 from today. I will try to get comments for everyone ASAP, and as soon as I catch up on some missed sleep. I have been staying up all night with this PAD and need to rest.
Here is the orij for those who like to compare.

Day 19 - The QE2 - Beacon Cove, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
The Legendary Cunard Luxury Liner the QE2 arrived for a short stay in Melbourne today.
Once again Karen was responsible for getting me there - at 5AM! She's a ship lover - not me - but it was SO MUCH fun photographing together

Day 18
These will be the last few from Chicago. I fly to Europe tonight and aim to post a few from there. It's going to be a few days (probably Friday/Saturday) practically speaking before I get chance to upload on DPC. |

Day 19: Lost at Sea
Continuing my attempt to show the not-so-famous spots in and around Washington, DC.
Nineteen days into this, I want to thank Shannylee for thinking it up. My recent challenge entries have been ... uninspired. But this project has gotten me to carry my camera around and actually think up varied stuff to shoot. I've got a whole new list of things to show visitors. :) And it's so much fun seeing what everyone else shows us.
So thanks, everyone!
