 Day 12.1 - the village meeting...
A meeting to attempt to decide if a property can be re-zoned to allow a public day care. it would seem a no-brainer, but apparently it isn't. let's see - the village is losing, and not attracting, young couples. in a few years, there will be few young couples left. there are no public daycares within 30 kilometres. gee, that's a hard one.
luckily, everyone stayed civil and polite, and there were no lasting enmities made. we hope within a few months we'll have a day care, but we can only keep fingers crossed.

ok, could everyone please check their comments received buttons? i' have been slowly working my way through, only 9 days behind, and no-one is checking if they're helpful. ok, maybe they aren't, but they can't all be useless????

hey hey hey, elaine, i left highly informative and itelligent comments on day one and two. ;-P yeah. i think i commented on our synchronicity of pink newspaper bags and the pretty sparkly lights...

From yesterday, sorry, rain here again today and nothing looked good as shot.
Anyway, for this one, St. James' Church in the distance; four more shots in the my "churches" directory (including a pretty cool sign that dates the church to the early 1800s at the latest). I didn't want to post all the pics in this project, as I haven't had time to comment in a few days, and didn't want anyone to feel obligated to comment on mine until I can catch up a bit (don't get me wrong, I love the comments, I just feel a bit guilty when I get them!). Keep up the posts, I can't wait to catch up on comments (I hope if I keep telling myself that, I'll finally find the time to do it!).

My dog Buddy at play in the flurries. We're well south of all the snow in Oswego, NY but they're predicting a more substantial snowfall here in a day or two, so maybe he'll get the chance to really enjoy himself then. |

Here's day 10. I'm still behind but trying to get caught up.
It was about 25 degrees when I shot these. There was about 100 or so kids at the skatepark....I saw 2 jackets and 1 helmet!!! There I go thinking like a parent! |

Not a prize winner, but a decent representation of my workplace. We've been in the new building over 2 years now. The fun I had for almost a year was going to the construction site and taking several thousand pictures during construction. Luckily one of the senior members at work really like the construction photos and they've been published several times now.

i am very very behind. like... 12 days behind. i posted some pics last week but i decided that i wasn't satisfied with them. so i'm starting over! i've been feeling really unispired for the last couple of weeks but i feel the inspiration creeping back in!! i have a pretty wide open week ahead of me so i'm going to shoot my little heart out :). the work you all are producing is so creative and wonderful.
