Happy 21st Birthday ... Day 11 Part 2
These are my twins and we celebrated together tonight. They ordered (got carded) their first girlie drinks tonight. We had a good time. This is where my heart lives tonight!

Busy with family obligations this weekend so I never got out to shoot. Decided to link to these two older shots from a Revolutionary War reenactment that takes place here every year to make up for it as I won't have a chance to get anything like this live during the challenge timeframe.

DAY 12 ..
australia, nsw, picton ...
we had the most incredible storm the night before last ... its power was amazing ... i was looking out my bedroom window and saw a direct hit only about 20 metres away .... AWESOME .... saw the lightning coming down and hit the ground and then like an explosion of sparks etc etc ... I THEN GOT MY CAMERA OUT!!! ... bit late for the main show, but got some nice effects ... we have gone from drought to flood in the space of one night .. couldnt get out of my road coz there was a new river at the bottom ...
we lost power for a day and my internet has been wiped out, but hopefully it will be working SOON !!
i'm at my brother's place after burning my photos from that amazing night to put in here ....
the lightning is my lighting source in all these photos ......
i dont have time to comment until my internet is working coz my brother uses this for work .....

Sandy reminded me that this is Sunday.....I did not get to go to church today, but I did at least talk to the minister......she had called to talk to me about the photography for the directory.....I am sort of the "Official" church photographer.
It's actually a pic that I had entered in a challenge, so it's older, but I do particularly like it especially since I took it Halloween night!

Did I mention how much I'm LOVIN' this challenge?
I have been stretching myself, looking for interesting nooks in the area around where I dwell - it's VERY cool!
Also am loving the ability to play with photoshop - knowing I'm not breaking any editing rules - GRIN!
Meanwhile I'm REALLY enjoying seeing everyone else's photos - sorry if I haven't commented on them all - but am trying hard to get to most. |

 Day 11 - Give'er!
a fund raiser for the local theatre at the pub. our choir sang too, but these guys really rocked. as did many others. a great night, and a good fund raiser.

  Day 12 The Gruenwald home is restored inside with period furniture. It is a museum and used for some City activities.
The gardens are maintained by the Madison County Master Gardeners. All plants are heirloom plants and seeds are gathered and sold to help maintain the gardens.
