Just wanna remind everyone that is feeling bad about their scores (especially the SPs) is that this is a Nude Photography challenge. The nudes in this challenge aren't going to stand out as much as they would in a regular challenge.
There is a lot of good work here. Some of which may be scoring low. I'd hazard to guess that top rated photos need more WOW than in regular challenges. Add to that the variety of what people think is "tasteful" and you have a very wide range of votes for any given photo.
So, really, don't beat yourself up over this and try not to take the votes personally. This ain't HotorNot.com

I am not in the least affected ego wise by my score..I just thought it was a kewl shot.
I have 22 comments so far,which is great!!I guess, as usual, I had just hoped for more score wise
Its not bad tho, just not keen on the downward spiral Im on!

some people should really calibrate their monitors. getting comments about a nice b/w conversion, while my photo is definately in color, makes me scratch my head.

O.. I hope that wasn't me.. I wrote that in an image about 1/2 an hour ago. Better go back & look.
I got a similar comment on my image & I even boosted the colours on it.
I've commented on 63% of the images. Have tried to be as helpful as possible. sorry if I offended anyone, but I figure we are here to learn & if noone tells us why they don't like an image we won't get anywhere. |

After 18 hours mine already has more views than all but one of my previous challenge entries (750+). I'm convinced it's the lighting and technical mastery of the image. ;) |
