LOL I've got my first "neat image" comment, was expecting that. But sorry no neat image or similar technique used. Ahh well she's reading these comments and didn't know what was the point, so no harm done ;-)
Love those comments though, because they give me a sense of what people see.

That's a change from the normal voting patterns :-) Usually you have boobies 1 or 10. LOL
Anyway, since this is a nude challenge, I found myself being more critical of the nudes than I am in other challenge. Typically, I tend to bump up my vote in other challenges to offset the Nudie Nazis, but this is a bit different.
I enjoyed many of these images, even some of the shoehorns :-) Many good images here (even some of the male nudes).

Yes, I went up a little. TY. I am cool with low scoring on this one its the first nude shot I have done much less entered. So it helps with comments so I learn. Man there are some awesome pics in this challenge, way to go everyone, you all really are great.

you know what, I need to get something off of my chest. I did a SP. I'm not as thin as lots of the other models, and my skin isn't as smooth either. My lighting IS good (at least some aspects were intended) the way it is. Ok, I had my doubts about the compo as well, but this was the best imo.
It's been a long time since I've scored a very low 5, heck, that was in may 2006 (4.6), so I really really wanna know WHAT is going on and WHAT isn't nice about my image.
To be honest. This pisses me off a bit, and I'm really really considering to self-DQ.
Grmpf. Might be harsh, but it's the way I feel right now.

Mine has boobies, but I pushed really hard to not make them the center of attention. I think I did well. :-) My score definitely isn't suffering because of them.
What really got me with this challenge is some of the props that are being used to cover the boobies. Some did well with it, others seem to say "OMG, I can't believe I'm naked."

| lots of scores are dropping (mine included - .5 in the last hour) this is pretty typical for a monday morning...then they rise throughout the rest of the week. some of the criticisms of mine are hilarious...the thing they criticizing is EXACTLY what i was going for :) |

I am going to try to comment on all images in this challenge. With so few entries I think it an easy goal. Hoerver...It is realy easy to praise something. It takes more guts to criticize something. Particularly with Nude I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. I know we are not meant to comment on the subject, however if there where two identical images with one beautiful trim body (male or female), and one not so trim, or older one and the photo shows this, It is a fact of life that 99% of voters will give higher points to the trim body. Many people went out and organized models for this shoot, (I did as I know noone realy wants to see me or my wife) and that should perhaps also be rewarded. I have given high points to some images where it is obvious this is not a model as the photograph interpreted it in an attractive way.
That said.. I will not make any negative comments about models. |
