Because I think there is an image in the free study that might break the record. I am shocked at it's sweetness.

Hmmm. I haven't looked at those yet but now you've got me interested. Last time I was blown away by a shot in a challenge was Librodo's Stories of Her Life and that one ended up eleventh highest all time so I think whatever is in this challenge has a long hill to climb if it is to even beat that score let alone Langdon's.

I showed it to somebody else that wasn't as impressed as I was, but I still think that it is a spectacular photo.

I need something besides snow to take a picture of. I am getting tired of snow.

Just out of curiosity, which photo was it? (the one boomtap was referring to, that is)

That 8-ball shot is awesome! I particularly love the obviously intentional use of the strip light and large, graphic 0's in the upper right to mimic the whole pool cue/ ball motif, in an inverted homage.

The centered cue ball clearly speaks to the static/dynamic zeitgeist of the game and how the powerful green baize/ lighter green wall rectangles play off each other is just sublime.

Mastery at work.
