I was just perusing through this list of phobias and thought it would be a GREAT idea to have a challenge based on phobias:)

Hmmmm, that would be interesting to vote on. Of course, I would have to skip all pictures of snakes, you know. :-)

LOL I was just going to say who has the beautiful snake? Can I borrow him?

I also got a snake phobia, but for some reason that snake has gotten a 10 from me the two times I have seen it in a challenge, its simply beautiful.

I guess I could go to the airport and take a photo of an airplane.

At least you could look at the pictures of snakes. I usually skip them. :-/

We actually had a challenge called "fear".

We already had a fear challenge. I missed it too. Heard it was difficult for a lot of people to vote in. I've been attacked by a 6.5ft python, so snakes are a touchy subject for me too. But I'm getting better considering I sell snakes for a living.

I think it is a brilliant idea! Fear and phobia is not the same thing. The US Surgeon General defines it as an anxiety disorder:

"The anxiety disorders are the most common, or frequently occurring, mental disorders. They encompass a group of conditions that share extreme or pathological anxiety as the principal disturbance of mood or emotional tone. Anxiety, which may be understood as the pathological counterpart of normal fear, is manifest by disturbances of mood, as well as of thinking, behavior, and physiological activity."

Think I pass on voting for THAT one. You could have a major panic attack just wondering what horror would pop up next! For example, what the heck is a walloon and why should I be afraid of it? See under W.

Dictionary.com says a Walloon is:
One of a French-speaking people of Celtic descent inhabiting southern and southeast Belgium and adjacent regions of France.

Don't know why you should fear them though, unless you're a frog.
