Laugh. I even knew 1967 was the Summer of Love before I checked, but I don't own anything remotely hippie-like. I also don't have access to soldiers fighting in Vietnam. I seriously considered shooting the US Vietnam Memorial, but figured people would complain it didn't represent 1967 because it was built years later.
So I'm in perspective.

I'm enjoying my trend for the past few challenges.
My last few scores, in order:
4.1
4.6
5.5
5.9
6.5 so far in postcard
8.5 after a whopping 2 votes in perspective (that's guaranteed to drop a few points by morning!)
At this pace, I'll be hitting 11s and 12s by the end of the year!

well, i'll hopefully not have this on the front page, sa the trolls are coming out now. i'm happy for them to vote it down, but the rather rude comment is slightly uncalled for.

After I submitted, I reread the description and interpreted "yours" as meaning "my headwear" instead of "others headwear". Silly me.
And the photograph could have benefited from advanced editing to blur the background a bit. |

Hey Team Minus,
Sorry but was unexpectedly busy this past weekend - though I did get my postcard shot the post-editing made file size too big :( and though I patiently downloaded oodles of images to use for a collage for Year YWB, never got the chance to assemble it.
Pity...I was really looking forward to showing Racquel Welch from the 1 Million Years BC poster clutching The Pill in one hand and a copy of In Cold Blood in the other...
Will definitely shoot this week, Light on White sounds like fun. |

speaking of comments, I have had my internet access at work limited and my monitor at home is breaking down so I wasn't able to vote recently and haven't been commenting much. :(
my perspective is 5.6 and postcard is 5.9

My perspective and poscard seem to be reversing themselves...
Postcard after about 20 votes was at 5.4 and is now up to 5.6
Perspective after about 20 votes was at 5.9 and has now plunged to 5.6
Hope postcard at least continues going up if perspective kamikazes...

You couldn't, it is basic editing.
Is anyone else finding the votes higher than expected? I really thought mine would be in the 3's. I think it's an awful depiction. I've had way better pictures score way worse.
