I found this worthwhile read on photo.net....
Getting Better: The Crucial Sentence
I think this article sorta ties in with one of the 'Becoming a Better Photographer' posts I made recently... It's about defining an objective and carrying through with it.... Check it out...

I don't think I can answer this yet. Not with a '100%' sentence anyway. Certainly food for thought.
Cheers John.

This sentence touches on something that's been bothering me for months.
I still can't fill it out and I've been trying to come up with a good answer for about a year. |

Very, very nice article. I have a passion for beauty and my goal is to photograph even the mundane so it becomes a thing of beauty. It's a lofty goal, I know. But, give me a week and I might change my mind :) |

"I have a passion for looking at things and my goal is to present reality the way I see it"
Maybe it sounds fuzzy, but I was thinking about this earlier. So many people don't see the beauty that surrounds them.
I kinda also like Joanns' sentence.

I want to learn how to do on purpose what I sometimes do accidentally, and thence be able to produce photos of a more consistent quality. |

I don't have a specific sentence either, but I don't really think this 'sentence' concept is meant to sum up your entire goal as a photographer... I think it's more applicable to individual project goals rather than your objectives on a large scale...

I have a breath for truth, I have no goal but a way to leave blanks in my speech, for that which I can't know, which has made for a certain emptiness conducive to every conceivable transport.
