Congrats to Giorgio on his ascension to the levels of consistant non-suck.
Meanwhile, I'm still firmly sticking to my suck roots. I'm a bit miffed at these because I believe them both to be good shots, but they are not performing.
Free study - hovering around 4.8
Landscape - Around 4.7, currently dropping.
Sub-five for these two shots is really a bit annoying. |

Hey Deb! If you're still offering could you comment on my Bokeh?
I really liked it and thought it would do much better. It's not a setup shot (just to dispute one of the comments). Tim says it looks grainy, but on my computer it looks smooth. I know my monitor is calibrated, maybe my eyes are just bad?

How about this one:
It didn't really suck - did pretty well, actually - but am wondering if the subject matter is kinda dull, or if the picture itself strikes some as uninteresting. |

Kelli, you rock. :-) Glad you appreciated the mall shot - totally cracked me up as well.
And I do agree that the "meets challenge" part of the train shot may not have been obvious. The barrier thingie they had in place to prevent people from actually crawling up into the engine defeated any possibility of getting the controls in context. |

Your welcome! And, I'm glad I'm not the only one to see the 'sophistication' in my shot. I'm quite sure that's why it was so underscored! ROFLMAO! You seem to be one of the few who "get" me.

Just read Deb's comment on my Wind photo. Sometimes I say to myself why do I put myself through this - it's comments like this that make it worthwhile. Even if I still suck scorewise.
I think Team Suck should give Deb a special Yappie award. |
