post here macro shots that make people go Yikes, Blearghhh, gross, or something other than nice or pretty..

here's my first macro in a long time..



pediculus humanus capitis or head lice !

taken with 100mm macro and 50mm f1.4 reversed.

The only reaction I get is that my head starts itching for some reason. Otherwise, it's a nice capture. Good focus and lighting.

Taken with the Sigma 105mm. Not exactly a "macro" shot per se but big on the blech factor.

Isn't at all disturbing or gross to me, but I suspect it is to many, LOL. One of these days I really need to re-process this shot, it could be done much better...

Another golden orb weaver. Big guys, but cute, in a way. But not very macro.
