| Intriguing subject - focus is too shallow and colours are bland and washed out. The dirt on the features is off-putting. |

| Great macro. Could be a bit darker though. My monitor should be calibrated properly yet the black seems a little more grey than black making it look washed out. Still better than what I entered though. |

| nice job getting really close. a little more contrast would make it really pop. it's too bad there is purple fringing. one of the unfortunate things about many digial cameras. |

| Great image. I am fascinated why the square image and centered subject work. I think it might have to do with the eye discounting or deducting the white space. The remaining image then has a different balance and subject placement. Whatever the reason, this is a nice image, well captured. Reminds me of Godzilla vs Mothra. |

| Nice detail but quite a lot of dirt/water on the eyes. Gives the impression that it is dead. |
