Challenge: Anthropomorphism
Description: Anthropomorphism is attribution of human motivation, characteristics, or behavior to inanimate objects, animals, or natural phenomena. This week, give a non-human subject attributes of a human.

Very similar yes, personification only allows for inanimate objects. Anthropomorphism allows for animals and such.

How things/animals/etc look or act like people or how people look or act like things/animals/etc

I was inspired by an image in an old movie. Maybe you saw it? Can't remember the title of the movie though.

I'm sorry, it doesn't work. I don't know actors or the title. But I could write some things down here..
A guy's ex-girlfriend left him for a (French?) cook. He's living in the (abandoned) appartment at the other side of the street, and he watches her with a telescope. The cook's ex-girlfriend joins him, she's a photographer.
I know at the middle of the movie he managed to "film" the ex-girlfriend and the cook, and reflected it on the wall and that's the way they'll be watching the couple for the rest of the movie.
Does that ring any bells? ;-)

Sounds like some wierd Dutch Avante-garde art film to me.

nope, it's American, I know there's at least one famous actor in it. My mind keeps saying Kevin Bacon, but I'm sure it's not him.
couple more things that come to mind:
the photographer-girl "stalks" the guy in the beginning of the movie with her motorcycle. He thought it was the cook.
there was something in her backpack he wasn't allowed to see. Can't remember what it was though. ;)
