I dont think they can 'sticky' on the front page or it would have ben done already. It IS stickied on the General Discussion page. You can also put it in your watch folder. | |
The only links on the left of the DPC home page are to the myspace page and to Steve's profile. The request is to put a link to this thread in with the other two links.

i think this is a fine idea. langdon is the only one who can edit that part of the page, though, so it will have to happen when he sees the ticket. |

I just noticed that Steve age was 55. Didn't it say 54 a few days or a week ago? Did he have a birthday since his disappearance? If so does AZ require a person to get their tag renewed on or 30 days before their birthday? If so can you check to see if he has renewed his tag. That would tell you where he has been. If he is NOT wanting to be found he could of had the plates changed.
Just a thought.

A friend who read this thread pointed out to me the earlier mention of Steve's nickname of Dave.
Is it possible that he's going by that alias? If so, should that be added to the Missing Person information?

You guys have done such a wonderful job getting the word out. This is a google search.
Keep up the great work. We all hope for his quick return. |

I was the person who mentioned the name 'Dave.' Dave is a nickname that Orion created when he was a child. The only people that call Steve 'Dave' are myself (sis in law) and Orion. I doubt anyone else knows about that name and it is highly unlikely that Steve would use that name.

I would like to make a public apology to everyone here at DPC and to Steve's family for my comment earlier in this thread. I meant absolutely no harm or ill will towards Steve or his family. I, as much as anyone here, would like to see Steve safe and well. I ask for forgiveness from the DPC community and Steve's family.

Gayle, I have no idea what you said but we all, from time say something we regret. You are very first class to publicly admit you goofed and as for me, you is forgiven. We all hope for his safe return.

this has been the worst three weeks of my life.
It's so quiet without steve around. He is a great friend and was always there for me.
Here's hoping and wishing that he will be home this weekend.
(I have my first main shooter job tomorrow and am so stressed and he isnt here to calm me down :( )

:-( I was hoping for his family and friends that Steve had been found by now. My heart goes out to his family and friends that are still in that unsettling wait state.
I don't know if anyone mentioned this in the prior 36 pages (I looked but I may have missed it) but does Steve have LoJack installed in his car? If he does then mayhap the authorities can simply track the signal. |

LoJack and OnStar has been brought up and from what I understand, his car did not have those options. His cell phone also was not GPS compatible. |

It should have a GPS in it. All cell phones that are working, as of 2005 had to have a GPS chip, or the carrier is not supose to allow its use on the network.
Maybe im confused on the federal law, but I read that on a cell phone forum. |

This is true but it can be turned off & on at the users choice thru settings.

That's not correct. My new cell phone does not have a GPS chip. My carrier complies with the E911 legislation by triangulating the phone's position from the tower. I bought the phone in May 2006.

Hi everyone,
Please remember to check the myspace page for the latest updates. A friend of the family has done a great job organizing articles and links as they come up! There is also an updated paypal account total. You DPCers have been wonderful with support, care and concern. I know Orion appreciates all the help!
The steveismissing@gmail.com is also the paypal number and where some friends have been privately emailing the family. I'm the one who is managing that account so all info gets directly forwarded to Orion.
Thanks again,
Jennifer
sister in law to Steve |
