I think this one is going to cause some controversy :) Found on the beach?? we are talking sunsets, lots of gorgeous rocky landscapes, seaguls up the whazoo, women, men, and a LOT more then just driftwood and dead fish :)

Uh huh, I think I will go with lines. :)

I am thinking the same.... it just has to be something you would see if you were at the beach, sea, lake, river, or pond. Stretching it, I wonder if a harbor would fit with most peoples idea of a beach?

I think more and more this will turn into a free study with water. lol. I'm going to bed thinking about the lines challenge and have two ideas already for studio and a couple for outdoors for lines. On the beach is just to easy. I predict about 400+ entries. :)

Monterey, Big Sur, Santa Cruz, Capitola, Crissy Field, Baker Beach... oh so many to choose from :P

I was up in Philydog today, and on the way home, as I came south across the Del Mem, I thought briefly about taking a left and going down to the shore. But no, I had to get home before midnight to get my entry in. So it goes. The beach will be there all week. Betcha there are a lot of entries in this one. And that will bring out all the tired old ideas to cut down on the size of challenges. I don't care, I'm psyched, and won't let anything bring me down.

Darn! I basically live on the beach, and here I am, leaving for the K-ness & Nasti workshop tomorrow (actually, early morning Thursday, but still no time to shoot). Arghh! :)

I have to be in this one. Most of the pictures in my gallery seem to be beach shots. I guess that comes from living about a mile away. I should try to avoid some of the easy cliches if I can. Otherwise just a pretty shot.
