Today I received this email that made my day:
"Dear Grayce,
I̢۪m one of the editors for Kodak̢۪s Picture of the
Day -- and I̢۪m writing
to say CONGRATULATIONS!
"Smiling Prince" has been accepted for Picture of
the Day. It will appear
April 23, 2003 on //www.kodak.com, and every
few minutes
on the Kodak Times Square Gallery in New York
City.
I thought "froggie" would be a wonderful picture
to help commemorate
Earth Week.
Be sure to tell your friends and family, and keep
submitting your pictures!

Hereis the image that will be displayed.
One of the things that makes it special is that Earth Day really matters to me and I was at Earth Day happenings back when it started in the 70's. :-)

congrats gracious!!! I'll keep my eye out for the site on the 23rd! Hopefully someone can catch it on the big screen in NY on the 23rd for you!

| I've had three of my photos as POD for Kodak in Times Square and they have actually gone out and taken a picture and then sent me three 8x10 copies of it on the billboard. VERY cool! Then you can carry it around and show it to everyone you know. :) Congrats!!!!! |

Please post a reminder a couple of days ahead.
Admin suggestion: maybe people can submit things like this for a daily/weekly link in with the site announcements on the front page. |

Hey everyone,
Thanks so much for all you sharing in my excitement. You folks are the best! I just hope I remember to check the live cams that day. I am one of the most forgetful people!!!

I was going to put a sticky note on my moniter but I just realized I am going on vacation that week. Rats! I will try to get on a computer and remind you all. I also am very forgetful so don't count on it. I blame my forgetfulness on my kids. hehehe...

Sonja, I hope you are going someplace photogenic! What's a vacation if you can't take pictures...lol.
Anyway, have a super duper time, and don't let the kids drive ya too crazy.
Remember to keep your eyes on the prize! YOU KNOW what I mean!
