The band I take photos for is putting out their first album and want to use a composite of two photos. I am not good enough in photoshop to do it myself and I wanted to see if anyone wanted to help.
The photo is going to be the cover and on about 10,000 copies. If anyone wants to help that would be great.
The idea is to take one of the photos of the band playing and put it into the water drop. Im looking for the band to look like they are playing in the drop. I have posted the drop and a few band photos that you can work with. Let me know if larger files are needed. Thanks to anyone who tries. This photo and 2 other drawings are the three covers were choosing from. |

It's tough with such a small drop, but here's my try at it:

all very cool. What they were looking for was to make the picture of the band smaller and fit it all in teh drop so you can see more of them. Good luck and I really appreciate the help. |

I'm not going to try myself, but it might help to pinch/punch the band image and try to shape it to the curvature of the droplet.
I've done something similar before, but I don't have time right now.

Ok, what about this one? I kinda cheated and used liquidfy to expand the water drop. :P
ETA: My editing steps have been added to the photo.

Sweet job Yanko. I appreciate all that everyone did, but the band decided that no individual member should be on teh cover of the first album. So, that means its either all the members or none.
As of now, I think they have decided that all the band in the drop would be visually weak for the size of an album cover and are just going w/ the drop photo on its own complemented by some other nature type photos for the inside art.
Thanks everyone.
Check out www.Japhyryder.com and come see them play. They are a great jazz funk band from Burlington and my boys from college. There are samples on their website and they are playing Nectars tonight. Bring 10 cans of food and the event sponsor has sweet posters. Its a good cause too. You will be pleasantly surprised. Ill probably be shooting photos for the website so stop and say hi. |

why not try something like fotofusion and do a collage with all the photos?

I just had an idea. Place one of the band photos behind the waterdrop and then have the water drop reflect just one of them or just the guitar? I'm off to work right now so can't do it for you. The middle picture, maybe, for the back photo.
It would be possible to fit them all in if the water drop was more horizontal. |

I cant do this, but how about each member inside their own drop. |
