Had a hard time capturing this lil guy today- heat, humidity and no macro lens lol. Posted one in the new upload thread and here's another.

Here is a little guy I photographed a couple weeks back in Oak Creek Canyon, Arizona. When first born they have to stay in one place until their wings dry off which is what he was doing. With my camera I have to be within about an inch to take a decent macro shot. The dragonfly readjusted itself several times because I kept bumping into him while taking pictures.

I love dragonflies and take photos of them often. We have a great lake by our house that has a wide variety:





And this photo is my highest scoring challenge entry to date - from the Green Challenge. 10th place;

Wow! those are most impressive! I want a macro lens. I took mine with my 14-45mm and had to crop A LOT to get it as big as it is.

I crop mine down some. I only have the macro that is built into my camera currently.
