I've only voted on 40%, but my highest score so far has been 7 (although the lowest has only been 5).
Maybe the next 60% will improve?

To put it in perspective, check out my average vote given stats. I'm a really tough-ass voter. What it basically means is I have a LOT less 4-and-unders in this challenge than I'm used to giving out.

ah, that's better - 5.9123. Of course, it should be over 6.5, but it seems many voters don't understand that. ;>)

Hmm...quite the opposite here. I usually agree with your opinions/perspectives Robert, but with this one I have to disagree. Check out my average score given and what it basically means is I have a lot more 4-and-unders in this challenge than I'm used to giving out.

I really think people took a major cop-out pill on this one; take the easy way out; submit anything and apply a Beatles related title. In some cases it was just that - related - and in others it was just ludicrous that the pic was actually applied to the lyric/title. Out of the box/interpretation aside, this fell short of what it could have been. My shot may not be the best, and I concede that, but it is true to the portion of lyric it portrays.

I WILL NOT BE TEMPTED! I will not unhide scores just to find out that I am sub-4.5...

The Beatles Top Ten
Do not read if you think it's going to sway your voting pattern in any way

Just a little incomprehensive survey I did...

1. Here Comes the Sun
2. Eleanor Rigby
3. Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds
4. Yellow Submarine
5. Ticket to Ride
6. Free as a Bird
7. When I̢۪m 64
8. Mother Nature̢۪s Sun
9. Taste of Honey
10. Strawberry Fields Forever

Oh waaaaaaa! My score dropped over two full points since the start - .5 just today. What are you complaining about? .09? Geez....

Just wonder if anybody that used the "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" knew that it was a song about LSD?(Lisergic Acid Dilithamide -sp-)

It could be, but John Lennon said it was inspired by a painting done by his son Julian in kindergarten of a classmate. (But I don't think Julian was on LSD at the time) ;>)

Really... I wonder what he was talking about with the lyric "the girl with kalidescope eyes..", must of been Julians teacher, on LSD.

Amidst a lot of the usual illustrative stuff, I actually find five or six images in this one that I really like - a long while since I've really used the top end of the scale so thoroughly in voting. I'd encourage anyone else who's struggling to get through voting to keep at it, it pays off eventually.

I've reported it. This is a photography challenge, not a challenge to see if THAT COMMENTOR knows all Beatles music. JUDGE THE PHOTOGRAPHY!!!

I too, got the same comment...luckily for me (although my overall score doesn't show it) my image was quite easy to connect to a song title, and lyric.

I'm ready for this Beatles challenge to end... my score keeps going back and forth, back and forth and still only ONE comment. That's irritating.

Very happy with this score :)

By the way, no comment of you yet, Rikki.

Just out of curiousity, where do you think you/she will come in this challenge with that score?

To be honest, I really don't know. Kind of depends on how high the scores are in this challenge of course. I think it will end up in top 30.

Okay I have 11 comments. One whom told me he gave me a 5 and a good reason why. Another one was just confused (which I don't know how). The rest have been very good comments...so why am I still sitting at a little better than a 5? All of you leaving good comments, can you leave me even better scores???

I quit.

Doo-doo heads.
