Who wants me on their WPL2 Team? Any takers?

I am not on a team, only know a bit about the whole WPL concept, but think I get it. Thing is I want to join a team I feel most at home with. All ribbon winners? Perhaps. Avid shooters who are getting ready to break thru? Sounds appealing. Really I don't know who I want to enter the big show with. So I wanted to simply post my brief resume, alerting people to my potential, and then hear the teams with open spots sell me on their team. The only requirement: I want it to be competitive. Thanks guys.

Hey, Beau, would it be wrong of peeps to treat this thread as a recruitment thread? I'm in the LoD but it doesn't last as long as WPL. If anybody wants a Larus beater then I'm your man ;)

That is a good idea. We can all use this as an open advertisement, a resume poster, an ego display if you will, to those teams in need of talent.

I also need to sign up for a team
I need something to get me off my backside and taking photos... I keep reading the challenges every week, think up a number of shots but never get around to taking them.

ribbons: 4
average: 5.67 (it's on the way up)
shooting: Nikon (if that makes a differance)

Maybe we can start a Rookie league - new members within 6 months of membership - no ribbons - maybe a top 100 or so. Then we can be recruited out if and when we become Larus-like (wishful thinking).

Sounds like an 'outcasts' team but think if we are not picked up from here we need to go in the draught? no new teams allowed.

The draft has been cancelled due to lack of response from draft photographers, so the few captains that had signed up have been asked to start recruting teams. I think there is still a need for a few team captains so teams can still be put together. See this thread for more details.

That is five if we are cool with these names....Looks like a strong bunch to me. Ecce, if you and I toss for Captain, that is fine but it would be pretty cool if we could stick with this first bunch of 5 and add the remaining members if needed.
