16 votes is way early and anything can happen, but i'm .6 above my average so while that won't ribbon it's a decent try on my part.
Environmental portrait...I have a few ideas if i can find a willing subject. Compared to the cinema debacle, this'll be easy.

| Yup, I'm probably not going to the next one with the score I'm looking at now. Lots of "pretty pictures" in this challenge, it's another free-study title-dependant challenge. |

doesn't look good, but if your score really is 5.7, it might be close.
(note to self, trash talking guarantees a loss - so shut your pie hole in the future)

| Well my dpc cinema shot is tanking hard. Which isnt really a bad thing. Now I dont have to worry about coming up with a really great environmental portrait only to get quashed by either kiwiness or judi. Good luck on your next shot shanksware. |

Don't count yourself out yet. Despite my best efforts and stressin' all week, I really didn't have a good idea/picture. I felt obligated to submit because I took a slot in the bracket. Right now I'm in the mid 5's |

I really put certain effort (plus some money :)) in this shot, so I had reasonably high hopes for for it. So far it's doing not too bad (6.5ish), although lower than I had hoped. Will see, it's still Monday morning around here. Enough to force me to shoot environmental portraits, Deb?

I have an 8 (pity its on the wrong side of the decimal point lol). You want to put me out of my misery now Larus? I'm happy with my score and some great comments

lol, I guess it depends how much above your average it is? I have to score .9 above my average to reach yours and I may just have done it for the 3rd time ;)

Nope, you've got it! I put a lot of thought into mine, and actually went somewhere I wouldn't normally go (especially not all by myself) and got lots and lots of shots. Found one that was just what I was looking for. But sadly, I've just barely squeaked over a 5 at this point. So unless you've gone and done something horribly wrong to get DQ'd, I'll just offer my congrats now and cheer you on in the next round! What the heck, I'll cheer you on in this round too! |
